I don't know about anyone else, but even if I was being attacked, I'd still seriously hesitate about harming another being. I guess I can deal with blunt objects like some sort of rod, but anything that'll draw blood like a knife, I don't think I can handle. Let alone burn someone! I'd be torturing them, which is psychological torture to me.

Edit: I Wish I could get my hands on some OC spray, I wouldn't feel so bad about using it lol.
