I think the point of those games is about the interaction rather than the graphics, something they've been pushing for quite a while now...

They will also have the Dragon Force series, and what may be a few Tales of games

eg. 'shooters' - i don't understand, so you kill/blow up a bunch of animated characters on the screen, where is the fun??

I too play mainly for the story, but Final Fantasy has been lacking since the SNES days, and even 7 was mildly amusing. Since then, the story has been sorely traded in for the flash and FMV.
