What about picture book "The Arrival" by Shaun Tan?You'd be better off with a different text type IMO.
Avoid Shaun Tan. Everyone does Shaun Tan.What about picture book "The Arrival" by Shaun Tan?
or "Red Tree" by Shaun Tan?
thanks for suggestion but it seems a bit hard to relate with The China CoinOptions for belonging relateds.
Anh's is the only one I have passing familiarity with. I imagine it could work.thanks for suggestion but it seems a bit hard to relate with The China Coin
I just looked up some picture books "A little refugee" by Anh Do or "A True person" by Gabiann Marin and illustrated by Jacqui Grantford.
Btw The China coin is about one Eurasian girl's journey with her mother(Chinese) in China. It’s about a change in her attitude towards Chinese identity through rebuilding relationship with her mother, getting accepted by her extended Chinese family, gaining knowledge/understanding about China and being involved in a Chinese community.
Do u think either one of those picture books fit with my prescribed texts? ((((omgg plz save me
ThanksAnh's is the only one I have passing familiarity with. I imagine it could work.
Don't feel tied to picture books though.
Which picture book did u use??If your set text is a poem, don't do poem(s) as your related. E.g I did a picture book when I studied these poems.
