that's pretty shit, even though i wasn't going. i guess they really should not have it clash with parklife. Even though on surface the type of people that go to parklife and the great escape are majorly different, i reckon they'd be alot of people that would have gone to great escape if not parklife (ie, me) even though the line up for great escape was lackluster this year.

it is good because they'll no longer making music (well apparently they will be again, but not for a while)and that is good because they are no longer clogging up the music scene with their releases overshadowing actually decent music that deserves much more appreciation.

also forums are a place for voicing opinions so if you're going to go round labelling everyone that has a differing one to you a cunt then you better hole up and close yourself off from the rest of the world because that be just about everyone that you cant stand.

i just reckon theres alot more Aussie rock bands out there with alot more talent that should be more successful... Horsell Common, Art Vandelay, Knives of Neptune for example.

but yeah really not what this thread is bout... not going to overtake the thread based on one persons reaction to a personal comment
