Re: Would you join a poltical party

First, go to wikipedia and get your facts straight you socialist commie fuckwit.
Ahahahahahaha

The Liberal Party hasn't traditionally been ideologically socialist, no. What I'm referring to is the tendency of many prominent Liberal politicians to favour big government policies (both economically and socially).

I've never met you before, but I do hope you have some innate kindness in you which will allow you to stop posting and thus save my brain cells. Not that I can't afford to lose any tho xD

P.S:

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Ahahahahahaha
Laughing at another person's argument doesn't demean their argument when your argument is infinitely more farcical and laughable.

Pretty obvious, if my guess based on their posting style is correct.

Does it matter?

Libertarians have some, frankly, extreme ideas, but I don't think it helps to dismissively call them trolls.

Troll or not this statement is fairly accurate.

It occurs to me that my political leanings are semi-unique.

I am as socially liberal, and support civil rights as strongly as the Greens or the LDP. However, economically I identify with Labour, or half-way between the Greens and the LDP. Unfortunately, Labour has a poor social/civil rights record.

I'll likely continue to vote Greens because a) Australia needs a third party in politics, especially one which champions civil rights, and b) environmental reasons.

It's a shame there's no 'Science Party'.

But the Greens have no general idea what they're talking about environmentally :s

Yeah you've made that claim before, Cat. I don't buy it in the least and I have no interest discussing it with you. You're far more likely to convince me of the benefit of some aspect of the free market than you are that the Greens are detrimental to the environment.
