Writing about sets by hand? (1 Viewer)

'Is a member of' looks like an E.

'Is a subset of' looks like a C.

'Is a union of' looks like a U.

'Is an intersection of' looks like an N.

The 'empty set' symbol looks like theta.

How am I supposed to write them out by hand without mixing them up up other symbols.

Use a written italicised version to differentiate. Or use a different writing style. Over time, you should develop your own system.

i'm not accustomed to almost all of them
but i know when you're writting 'the Is a member of', make it more like a macdonalds sign flipped and stretch it
for, 'is a union of', try make the lines a little longer [so its a 'taller' U]

and on the other hand, its not really neccessary to write those special symbols

What's the problem?

Like the 'is a subset of' symbol looks like a C so if 'A is a subset of B', it looks like 'ACB' when it's meant to be 'A⊂B'.

You've just typed it differently. Do exactly the same thing when writing. I usually adjust the slant and the curve.
