If a girl you "really" like nags you about your smoking "problems" and tells you to quit
would you?
If yes/no, why?

If a chick asked me to quit smoking I'd do it. Then again, I don't smoke anyway, it's a dangerous and expensive habit. I'd probably do the same if she was the one smoked.

But I know this isn't the case for everyone. While she should accept you for who you are, have you ever considered her reasons for asking you to quit? She may have known someone who died of lung cancer and doesn't want the guy she loves to fall to the same fate. Or she could have asthma. Or she could just think it's a filthy habit. Or she could just be a nag.

My brother quit for his girlfriend, at the beginning of the relationship, they've been together now for 10 years, married for 2. And he's a healthier person for it.

Why would you smoke in the first place?

I mean let's consider the following points:

• It tastes horrible
• It smells horrible
• It causes cancer
• It ages you
• You become ugly because of it
• Its a friggin' waste of money
• It kills you
• When you die, it won't be an easy death

Now, if we already KNOW all of this, why would you smoke in the first place?

there are a ton of real reasons to quit, for your health probably being the best one, if none of those reasons appeal to you, then dont quit just for a girl.

What a presumptious bitch though! wants you to change just for her. ladies, if you dont like smokers, just refuse to date them, dont date them and then make them change who they are just for you [because only the most pussified doormat would do it]

Sometimes its not just about the act but the reasons behind it...if you arent quiting for the right reasons then it makes me wonder what the point is.

If she's nagging and being a real bitch about it you probably won't like her for too much longer so why quit for her?

The guy I'm kinda with smokes and I've grown up in a very anti-smoking household because my grandfather died as a result, so I'm not too fussed on him smoking cos it can fuck him up, but as long as he doesn't smoke too much around me, or in designated no go zones like my house, I can live.

It would be nice if he did quit though.
