Considering none of the library funding comes from student fees, it would be ludicrous to provide any less of a service to those not paying the voluntary student fees come august.

I thought that might be the case, but wasn't sure so didn't say it... there's too much BS flying around in debates like this for people to start saying things they're not sure of...
