1. In case of a revolution. (Widely used in protests across the globe, its a symbol of change)
2. I'm a part of anonymous activist group. (Even though everyone is anonymous, there is no registration form.) And the mask is the symbol.
3. Is from a graphic novel and movie which I love called V for Vendetta.

The mask is based on a person called Guy Fawkes who attempted to blow up the parliament house to change the government in London in 1500s on November 5. He was however caught and couldn't do it.
