See my above postSilly me! That was so simple!
So I could use a table of values to sketch it right?

1500 essay on my historical investigation where you can pick a topic for research and question to answerWhats it on??
Yep! Exactly rifhbAbsolute value (standard y=|x|) shifted right 3 units
Don't use TOV (it's a waste of time tbh)Silly me! That was so simple!

or you could remember the 1/2 cuts at the y-axis and that you can draw the gradient via rise over runSilly me! That was so simple!

I'd prefer a Table of Values since I'm more comfortable with that.or you could remember the 1/2 cuts at the y-axis and that you can draw the gradient via rise over run
Oh yeah, of course. If that's what you're comfortable with, then go for it.I'd prefer a Table of Values since I'm more comfortable with that.
I know it takes a while to get used to sketching without TOV but it isn't worth going to so much trouble in an exam for 1/2 marks IMO.I'd prefer a Table of Values since I'm more comfortable with that.
If you're talking about straight line graphs then you should probably consider finding the y and x intercept and drawing a line through the two of themOh yeah, of course. If that's what you're comfortable with, then go for it.
Although it may take a bit of time in examinations cause time is precious and doing the quicker way is more efficient (without making mistakes lol), so just putting it out there.
i rarely say mate or inb4 to my friends at school, i'm just tired at the moment maybe that's why i'm a bit loose.Or maybe it's just me
I don't know
You seem a lot more outgoing and loose, in a sense that you're saying things like "inb4" and "mate"
I swear I've never heard you use terms like that before
Ermagawd you genius! Bby I must borrow your brain for the next test plz!Guys, I got my 2u maths mark today!!! I got 54/54 but I dont know if my teacher has finalised it yet. Oh well, for the time being, I will revel in this bliss.

It almost always goes through (0,1) and just adjust the curve on the basis of the gradient, -f(x) or f(-x).thanks everyone!
im gonna be asking lots of q's while im studying, so im sorry if i annoy anyone.
how do we sketch an exponential curve?
sorry i didnt get that.It almost always goes through (0,1) and just adjust the curve on the basis of the gradient, -f(x) or f(-x).
sorry i didnt get that.
what's normally involved in exponential curves? like the power at the top (x) is always equal to 1 isn't it? but then how do you sketch it?
No the x is the changing x value . Most exp. curves pass through (0,1) because anything to the power of 0 is 1.sorry i didnt get that.
