Lol. Not always. Think about it is way... Why would you eat a cheese cake if it tastes bad ?

Also if the cheese cake goes off... You would probably not even get close to it.

It's March already! How are your subjects going guys? Any changed opinions?
Here are my subject reviews:

English Advanced: 7.5/10
Enjoying the lessons, but the workload is just..>.>

Mathematics + Ext.1: 10/10
My favorite subject. nuff said :)

Business Studies: 8/10
Lessons are pretty boring but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Content is alright so far :)

Chemistry: 7/10
It's been a love-hate relationship so far. Sometimes I'm just completely lost in class >.>

Geography: 9.5/10
Lessons are always interesting. Have an awesome teacher and class. Never gets boring :)

D&T: 5/10
Hate the workload, it's been absorbing time from all my other subjects
Will most likely drop it in Year 12 :/

My subs:

Advance English: 8/10
Loving the work it's just too much of it sometimes and some of the stuff we do is so repetitive

Extension English: 11/10
LOVE it , my best subject by far I look forward to each lesson and I don't mind the work at all

2unit math: 9/10

Pretty good actually, works not too bad and I'm actually starting to like math

3unit: 8/10
Haven't really had much work since our school is doing 2/3 unit together but it seem alright so far

Chemistry: 9/10
Love it, it's so interesting and work isn't that much either

Biology: 7/10
Like the subject but the content is really boring right now plus the teacher gives us way too many sheets

Society and culture: 10/10
Also an amazing subject with a really interesting curriculum, plus the teacher is awesome one off the best I've ever had

Glad to see you are enjoying EE1, I wish I could have taken it (I'm actually liking class discussions in English now) but 14 units would just kill me ahahaha, plus we're not allowed to drop anything until Year 12 :/

what i think of my subjects:

English Advanced: 6/10
Way too much work OTL absorbs time from my other subjects but then it's compulsory :( content isn't terrible but it's not interesting

English Extension: 7.8/10
Actually an ok subject, wasn't planning on taking it but it turned out ok. Currently learning about myths and it's quite interesting, however, again the workload is heavy for a one unit subject

Maths + Maths Ext: 9/10
Maths has always been one of my favourite subjects, only problem is homework overload

Economics: 10/10
Really interesting subject imo. I love how my teacher is all about the whole self study and independent learning idea. This means that although we get homework, it's not compulsory, meaning that it's less stressful because if i really don't have the time at the moment then i leave my work for later on. i will do the work eventually though :)

Business Studies: 7.5/10
Just slightly boring because we keep having substitute teachers and all we do is write notes from the textbook

Financial Service: 8.5/10
Quite like the subject, it's really practical and i find that it does click if i pay attention. Forces you know all the content and knowledge because you constantly have to relate to what you've already learnt.

LOL I have the same problem with Maths and Chemistry :jump:
I use two small binders for them and when I look at them I'm actually quite surprised with the amount I've actually received from the past six weeks :jawdrop:

I think its because some teachers prefer to use resources from other textbooks as they make more sense/are better than the ones you're actually given. For instance, my teacher gives us all our our 2/3 unit mathematics notes from the Fitzpatrick book (I think that's what it's called) because he reckons that the notes from Preliminary Cambridge are bad.

Here's what I think of my subjects so far:

English Advanced and Extension- 8/10
I really like English, so it's been good so far. I've been finding Extension a little boring though.

General Maths- 6.5/10
Not too bad, it's pretty easy but I don't really like my teacher.

CAFS- 8/10
I'm actually enjoying this subject more than I thought I would. I look forward to every lesson.

Ancient History- 9/10
Probably my favourite subject right now, I love it!!

Biology- 8.5/10
I get a little bored with biology sometimes, but for the most part I quite enjoy it.

Earth and Environmental Science- 8/10
I was originally doing Business Studies but after like four lessons I was over it, I hated it so I changed to Earth and Enviro. I didn't really like any of my options on that line but I like science and biology so I figured I'd give it a shot and I must say, it's far more interesting than I thought it would be! Definitely do not regret changing subjects :)
