how are you peeps preparing for your english exams this term?

Writing practise essays, feature articles, speeches... (probs not going to happen but Ill try) I havent even finished reading my texts and the exam is next Wednesday!

This is my plan for the english exam.

Paper 1 (AOS):

Short answers: Don't need to practice lol, already decent at them.
Creative: Writing up one right now, and once I'm done- it's perfecting time and adapting to stimulus practice.
Essay: Generic response alongside backup thesis statements and textual evidence if the worst case scenario occurs. Need to find related text lol.

Paper 2 (Modules):

Module B: Know text really well, i.e. Themes, Characters, Acts, Scenes. So I'm going to just remember quotes and techniques cause this module can ask basically anything.
Module C: Similar strategy to AOS essay, except I've got a related text.

Wow. I wish I was dedicated to English as you are. So for your English exams, do you have to do three tasks (short response, creative and essay)?
And you are very knowledgable about your modules, I actually have no idea what they are lol. (Yes, I am very bad.)

For paper 1, yes.

Nah, I just look at the key words from the rubric and from there it forms the basis of my study for English.

tell me about it, I had to compose 3 creatives in 3 weeks and after that I basically died and haven't touched english since

need to write 2 more essays but english can smd (not that I have one)

m8, it's gonna take me ages to compose this story so bloody tedious

shows how creatives are not my forte

and even then, I can write decent essays because it suits my formulaic approach I undertake with english

nope it's called I had to churn it out or face the wrath of my english teacher xD

I almost went crazy whilst writing and my parents were seriously concerned lol

eh at least essays are a tad easier and I can drop eng ext in 5 weeks

i remember back in year 10 when I used to complain about writing two essays a year ._.

I'm more used to writing a lot nowadays but i wish I could take a break lol
