and as for series, i think twilight is the only one i've read (not that it was THAT great) and i don't like harry potter (i know, OH EM GEE!)

Ah i can't think of a stand alone book that rates into my favourites list, so for the moment, i'll just list my favourite series...

Favourite series:
1. Obernewtyn Chronicles- Isobelle Carmody
2. Axis Trilogy- Sara Douglass
3. Song of the Lioness Quartet - Tamora Pierce (nice one from my childhood) :)
