Ok, i've got this assignment due in like 2 weeks and need HELP!!! The assignment is based on "collecting three pieces of material relating to 'Change'". The choices can be:

novel, poetry, short story, plays, film scripts, web page, feature articles, newspaper/magazine articlem, song lyrics, film/video, television program, picture book, artwork, cartoon, documentaries or multi-media.

I have decided to choose novel, poetry and an artwork.

Now the next step is searching!

All i want to ask is, which book depicts 'Change' in a powerful manner. Any suggestions???

There's Looking For Alibrandi...and it's a very popular text. Also Maestro by Peter Goldsworthy. Both are great novels!!

hello's ...hey simon, how's your assessment coming along?! im gonna do an artwork for my last text..

im doing Maestro as the core text and that poem from the stimulus booklet..."the Door" and this painting by Juan Gris called "Portrait of Picasso"...somehow im gonna link them all.

Yeah i think everyone's doing change in the state.

and no offence but Maestro isnt that good a novel, its just very handy for school cause its one of those texts that you can deconstruct and analyse in order to understand the text better...its definately not a book that i would read at my leisure...

if u dont mind a long novel with lotsa symbolic stuff u could do The Sound of One Hand Clapping by Richard Flanagan...very symbolic, everything from the teaset to the FJ holden to the dam represents something - but very good if u can get into it

Hey guys, with this assignment im considering doing 'bohemian rhapsody' as my written choice. Ive already done Sylvia Plaths poems... very boring, and i still need a visual piece... preferably not a movie.
