for year 11 at all saints senior i chose (and hopefully get)
1. english advanced
2. advanced maths (extension if i get into hurlstone)
3. chemistry
4. ipt (i now wish i did modern history instead)
5. legal studies
6. studies of re 2u

here's wat I chose for yr 11:

Advanced English
Mathematics - 2U
Physics
Business Studies
Textiles and Design
Software Design and Development

and IT VET GAT for year 11 only - but we start on the day of our last SC exam - tuesday

i rkn ppl shud do ext1 english in yr 11, even if they dun like it, cos its compulsory for the hsc and u may as well practise it in yr 11 cos it doesnt count to anything.

it has to be somewhat interesting cos proabbly 50% of all ppl sitting for the hsc study it.

business studies does not scale well, since this forum is filled with smart kids (unlike me ) u'll find they usually do subjects that scale well, such as ecomonics.

I think so but I heard that PD/H/PE has a really crap scaling and that Legal Studies may be hard

yeah - thats what I wanna know to open my own business - prolly not for another ten years but anyways oh and I'm not doing IT VET Gat as I mentioned earlier that I might do it. Twice a wk from 4 til 6 - no I dun think so even tho I live close to the school

drop a subject if you cant manage the workload. but i recommend you try it out first. you might really enjoy a subject or really hate it, so dont rush into dropping a subject just yet.
