My friend n i did a stupid mistake n decided to skip english today n got caught by the deputy principal
we have a commerce assignment due the first day of term 4 n so today was counted as the ‘day before’
per nesa’s rules we cant be away and/or late the day of or the day before an assignment is due (we‘re in yr 10)
does skipping class also fall under this category? would we get a zero/n-award?

It's to do with your ability to complete the course and satisfy its completion criteria. Skipping class can become problematic if it happens regularly, because it technically prevents you from achieving those outcomes, by missing out on classwork. As such, you may be at risk of an N-Award.

I’m starting to think i want to pursue medicine badly, but i don’t think i have the right subjects.
U reckon i could get let in doing these subjects with a high enough UCAT?
4u math. Eng adv. Economics. Physics. Earth Environmental science (may drop) depending how 4u goes.

yes as long as chemistry is not a prerequisite and you meet the entry requirements which it is for most medicine courses iirc.

I never thought it would be so scary to receive a notice from Google telling me that I have no more free storage... Such an experience being locked out of a Google Doc 😭

Hi I just saw your essays for each of the texts you studied that you used for the hsc. When did you start making/forming the base essays? If for example you knew the texts beforehand did you start working on them before year 12 started (for the first text)? Coz I know what text I will be studying for for year 12 and im thinking if I should start planning now or wait till they officially start next term

the essays were mostly adapted pre-trials based on the essays which I had written during terms for like assessments and that sort of thing. I don’t really see too much point in starting work on your essays before year 12 (enjoy your holidays), but while you’re learning the text it’s definitely worth drafting essays and submitting them to your teacher for feedback regularly to improve, don’t leave it all to trials/hsc
