FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!


Gonna apply for pass conceded, i hear that they dont normally give that out for summer sesh classes, but 3 or more of my second year classes require math1231 as a prereq, and my overall WAM went up from a 44.750 to a 51.556...

I didn't pass maths either, and I couldn't do the summer sesh one. What I've done is moved some subjects around and then gotten permission for some too. No idea how second session will go. We're in a similar boat I think.

I thought they only give out PCs if you barely fail a class and you're doing okay in other subjects. With a WAM of 51 I think it'll be pretty difficult.

But my WAM went up from a 44 to 51 (edit: not 55, my bad) after getting a course mark of 47 in 1 subject, i didnt expect my WAM to go like that so quickly, but still, if my email dont change their minds then i'll go up to uni and have a talk about stuff, see if we can work something out.

Er wait.. did you do other subjects as well as MATH1231 that pulled your WAM up? Because as Pace said.. it's an average. There's no way it jumped to 51 with a mark of 47...


A supp is a supplementary exam, ie: the exam people take if they missed the first one.

And supplementary exam eh... i did my main one, not sure if they will let me do again, because i got no illness/misadventure excuse...

but still, 47, i should be given a pc i reckon, fucking 3 of my second year courses have math1231 as a prereq.

Considering the circumstances (that you pretty much NEED to pass that course), they might consider a supp.

Although I still don't understand how your WAM went up so much. There sounds like there could be a problem there...

Man, hope you get your supplementary exam. It would be such a drag to have to wait on a WHOLE semester before you can continue with your course. Prerequisites, don't you just hate them. Anyway, best of luck with working something out with UNSW.

term is just based on the subjects you did that session, which then adds to your over all (which you have dragged down from 59ish after session 1 to 51ish now)
