My parents are so not typical it isn't funny =="

I rejected a proposal to James Ruse - my mum was somewhat disappointed but she supported me. My dad was actually happy because i was "going to enjoy what's left of my childhood" in his words XD

They'd like me to get the highest UAI possible, but they aren't forcing me to study/get tutored or anything. I simply ask them when i want to do anything - the only pressure for the HSC comes from myself XD

I listen to rock music, go to concerts and go out with mates - no problems there.

I have spaghetti, lasagne, BBQ, steak + mash for dinner etc. I have noodles about hmm twice a week perhaps but that's only because i like it hehe.

has just DEPRESSED me.
maybe it's cause you guys have already met the expectations of your asian parents, while me on the other hand, have not.

And to think I thought majority of asian parents where like that
oh well, I guess they are evolving to the new ages.
and here I am stuck with my asian parents...

I get this quite often. They seem to not be satisfied with a somewhat good mark.

I think it's asians are too ooooo competitive!

they expect after school, eat dinner, study, sleep, go to school, eat dinner, study sleep, go to school, eat dinner, study, sleep.........

wtf you're not a chick

i dont know any girl who says that they go out with mates

judging by your diet i suppose that when you said you go out with your mates you probably go to powerlifting competitions. every food you listed is packed full of either protein, carbs or both.

going back to one of your first statements, no wonder they dont pressure you, i wouldnt fuck with you myself with the mental image ive got of your physique

0.9% of female teens are anorexic. enthusiastically listing her dinner menu isnt a good start for coming across as a normal girl.

friends is a good substitute for mates. a tryhard asian chick who wants to come across as australian would say mate instead of friends. most teen girls say friends.

go finish studying for your medicine degree, you've probably never been asked out in your life.

Yeah pal, maybe if you started living up to their expectations then they wouldn't ride you so hard.

Just be thankful that you're growing up in Australia and not in whateva asian country you're from. Then you'd have no chance of competing cos Academics is like a religion over there.

Just because 0.9% of girls are anorexic and i listed what i eat, that means i'm not normal. For your information, 99.1% of girls (according to your stats) are not anorexic and therefore wouldn't have trouble listing their diet. Not to mention the much larger % of girls who would be now classed as overweight/obese.

So i used the word "mate" instead of "friends", so what? I was born and raised here so i speak colloquially. Get over it. And no, i don't want to do medicine at all and yeah i have been asked out.

And stop stereotyping - just because most people do one thing doesn't mean everyone does. Also, the only reason i listed my diet at all is to contrast my parents with those of the OP. it was to simply show that i have all kinds of meals for dinner.

You obviously are just a bigoted, stereotyping and sexist troll who should rot in hell. F you.

I swear, my mum has extensive connections. Every Asian kid she knows is better than me in some aspect, if they're not, they're not worth knowing.
