No.yes, the mark that gets used to calculate ur ATAR is the average of
'the mark that the 20th person got' and the mark u actually get..
What do you mean no? Do you mean he is wrong ?
yes, he's wrong.What do you mean no? Do you mean he is wrong ?
Does the difference involve you getting some persons or part of someone's markWhat's important is the internal mark difference between each person.
nah. people don't simply "exchange" marks and stuff.Does the difference involve you getting some persons or part of someone's mark
how on earth do u know dis?nah. people don't simply "exchange" marks and stuff.
ok...as always let's start with some real-life example.
A, B, C
A = 97 at school
B = 96 at school
C = 93 at school
AND
A = 100 at HSC
B = 96 at HSC
C = 95 at HSC
NOW
Internal marks of A, B, C are moderated according to HSC marks.
so A's mark of 97 at school becomes 100
B's mark of 96 becomes 99 because his internal mark was very close to A's
C's mark of 93 becomes 96.
AND A, B, C keep their HSC marks.
So A = 100/100 = 100
B = 96/99 = 98 instead of 97 because he might have got 97.5+
C = 96/95 = 95
Because I experienced it on my own last year. They are real marks coming from my own school last year.how on earth do u know dis?
Thxnah. people don't simply "exchange" marks and stuff.

Lol person who came second got very lucky because if you weren't an accelerant, he would have come first meaning that he gets marks: 96/96 instead of 96/99.nah. people don't simply "exchange" marks and stuff.

maybe ye. the first guy did pull some of their marks up.Lol person who came second got very lucky because if you weren't an accelerant, he would have come first meaning that he gets marks: 96/96 instead of 96/99.
