if only T_T

couldnt do a volumes part properly and half of Q7-8 was gg. ARG.

whats ban6 raw mark requirement again? 65% for ban6 or somethin? generally?
I have no idea, my teacher just keeps on telling us to aim for ~70% XD

Can someone help me with this...

In my history extension project i came first with 35/40, and the girls behind me got 33 and 31. It was weighted 80%... If they beat me in the trial (which is weighted 20%) by the amount I am ahead by (2 marks and 4 marks) does that mean I will lose my rank...Like taking into account the weighting of both tasks?

Sorry if this made no sense!
No you won't losee your rank because the weighting for the trials is less than the major work weighting :)

Mine start Monday too grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ><"

Re: Trials next week !

Well I'm not in year 12 so I can't speak of the stress of the HSC (but I do accelerate soo...): I feel quite confident for my maths trials but I'm doing the CSSA independent paper and it's on Monday week 4 and Thursday same week.

My preparations have been sufficient I guess... I seem to be only having difficulty on the very hardest of questions, so I guess I'm up to almost the best I can be.
lol you have done sooo much more than me =S I have not opened a HSC maths textbook in almost a month!

Big woop. You're in Yr 10, and you're doing MX1 and MX2 next year, so guess what? Maths ain't gonna count.

..Kurt Physics is a genius.
I'm sure he wants to do well in maths, prolly gonna ace it like namu did..

Anyways, good luck to everyone who has trials next week. I have an interesting story actually, my friend's teacher showed him the catholic trial for english paper 1. Obviously I'm not gonna say who but he didn't realise how much of a big deal this was until he told me. Too bad my school doesn't use catholic papers, lucky bastard.

Re: Trials next week !

the teachers saw the CSSA papers on wednesday

our physics teacher was ORGASMIC when describing the paper - kept saying 'wow, this years paper is sooooooooo much balanced, i think you guys will seriously enjoy it' - that in a curry accent :)

and apparantly eco is going to be challenging :mad1:

also our SOR1 teacher said not to expect anything unexpected for its paper...

dont know about the rest

seems like its going to be a fun few weeks from monday <(^^,)>

GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY :)

English - 25%
Modern - 30%

MXT2 - 45%
Chemistry - 60% (30% for prac exam, 30% for theory exam)
Physics - 35%
