Urgent! ELISE Quiz (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

I got an automatic email from UNSW last week regarding the ELISE quiz.

It says that I cannot enrol into my semester if I do not take this useless library quiz. WTF?!?!?

I have gone over the date that I must complete it by, is it too late?

I had 2 attempts without even studying. Most of it is like general knowledge.

Minimum is 80%.

Scored 70% in the first attempt and 85% in the second.

people normally get 100% and then forget about it the moment they finish it...

man you dont need the tutorial thing. you just google the fuck out of the test. spend max ten minutes on it and you get your 100%.

What is this elise quiz anyway? Is it a library thing that teaches you how to look up books or journals and referencing, then tests you on it?

it pretty much teaches us how to use the library, where to look for for certain things, ie journal articles, books, etc.

:mad1: Greeaat... This is a one-off thing right? I did a thing like this at uws, but it was spread across the whole semester, lots of pointless library quizzes along with class tests. What I found ironic was that it was all part of one big course that pretty much taught you the basics of written English, yet the tests were always full of mistakes (spelling, grammar, etc.)...
