it'd be a shame for the hyo to fall over in the driveway a few times before the insurer sees it

I don't think an RVF would be any better than my $2000 FZR600. eh, LAMs. For like $3000 you could buy an early CBR600F2 or later, ride it without plates on, if unlucky cop a fine or two, and you'd still be ahead.

When I read you were riding to uni hungover with no sleep, my first thought was that's when shit always gets fucked up. The only serious crash I've had was when I'd been awake 24 hours.

Anyone interested in a ride uni holidays (summer ones, not midsems)?
Yeah bro. Probably going to sell the FZR600, and invest it in business, but hopefully that'll turn back into capital and I'll have something then.

As far as I know it cuts the throttle when you preload the gearshift so when you click it up you don't have to roll off/use clutch

The BMW one might be more complicated / techy but that is my laymans understanding

Nope, all fixed now, apart from the "racing stripes".

Didnt realise how well a bike runs when its sparking correctly with all sparks.

How are they going to check your licence

when you have 400kw/tonne.

I've never actually had my licence checked ever and I constantly flout the law. I spent a couple of months riding an unregistered bike daily around newcastle. Should have just ridden unlicenced tbh, save money.

My advice to new riders-

Ride unlicensed, you'll probably get away with it if you stay off main roads.

Most 250cc bikes have very little power and if you buy one you'll have to spend money upgrading to a proper bike in month. At least get a 600cc sportsbike, if not a litre, so you won't have to waste money upgrading straight away. Don't worry about horror stories people will tell you about sportsbikes, they only go as fast as you twist your wrist, and a 600cc engine is only a third of the size of the engine in a corolla, weak as piss.

Wearing a jacket and pants is torture in the summer heat, and leathers make you look like a fag. If you collide with a truck leathers aren't going to do shit, your main defense on a bike is your reaction skills, so you want to be comfortable so you're focusing on the road, not how much of a pain your new leathers are. T-shirt and thongs will keep you cool and collected.
