Totally unproductive if its more than about 4 people imo
last time I was group studying in the library was with 9 people, complete fail... ended up going to the silent study room to get some work done

Tbh, I study better without distractions.
But.. for this threads' sake, I would suggest to designate parts to everyone and then organise a date to meet up, and exchange notes.
