Is there a pill you can go on that reduces the number of periods you have, like you have say 8 weeks of active pills rather than 4?
yeah but i'm not sure it's available in australia. Is there a pill you can go on that reduces the number of periods you have, like you have say 8 weeks of active pills rather than 4?
my friend has had an implantation for about 5 years now and she hasn't had a period in that time. (that's an awesome side effect in my book!).I'm actually getting the Implanon inserted tomorrow. Is there anybody here who have/had it? If so, how did your body respond? Any severe side effects? No side effects? I appreciate your comments
what would be cheaper though?Or you can just skip the sugar pills and have your period when you want, which is what I do (though this requires a monophasic pill).
I haven't had a period/withdrawal bleed for almost a year.
DittoI'm on Levlen.... $22.25 for four months
I'm surprised there isn't a generic version of Yaz :/I was on monofeme when I was 18-19 and it was no good for my skin or PMS. Not sure what's different about yaz but I've felt practically no side effects.
If I could find a nice generic pill with no pms and good skin, I'd swap. My doc probably recommended yaz because they pay him eh...
Levonorgestrel 150µg and Ethinyloestradiol 30µgKwayera, what has yours got in it? i was on microgynon for a while and that was much cheaper but it wasn't strong enough for me.
My bad, thought it was the internal one.Actually no. I've already been through the first stage of the process, gone through the who what when where why and how. I'm still looking to hear about some bosers experiences.
And it's not inserted in my 'baby maker' lol. It's inserted into my arm.
Now who's the stupid one.
I think you mean an IUD.My bad, thought it was the internal one.
yasmin has 3mg Drospirenone and 30µg Ethinyloestradiol, so i'm assuming that the Drospirenone is what makes it more expensive.Levonorgestrel 150µg and Ethinyloestradiol 30µg
You've lived with this for 9 months? Change change change!i've been on Norimin for about nine months and whilst it's controlling my periods and preventing me from falling pregnant, my mood swings are exceptionally erratic and i get terrible cramps to the point where i feel like someone is carving out my uterus with a small spoon and that i might vomit. my moods swings are that bad even my boyfriend has noticed that they get worse and worse each time.
so, as soon as i can, i plan on changing my dosage or completely changing the brand. i'm sick of the side effects!
