Solid trolling, 3/5.
Again, like I said...you still have all the work ahead of you. Maybe you manual labor types accept things without an actual framework for analysis or falsification, but those of us who have studied beyond year 9 PE do not. Provide us with a model that demonstrates how private security firms will do a better job at aligning social costs with private costs, or how 'letting things be' will reduce greenhouse gas emissions. I'm all ears..

Also I've provided an argument that explodes and refutes the idea that inequality is efficient, so I don't see how I'm 'trolling', as you say.

I don't hate the poor but welfare doesn't help them.

Edit: No wait... I do, they look so awful.

I don't get this "OMG thers sumfin rong wit da current sydtem, so lez geriddofit compleetly" attitude.
If you have smashed up car, you get it repaired. You don't go out and buy a new one, especially when you have no fucking idea how much the new car will cost.

...

well most people in America who talk about "Freedom" are conservatives who are really just selfish libertarians...
like "Oh well I don't the tyrannical government taking away MY guns and MY money"
...
This is from "chelsea girl"" Quote:

If the majority of Libertarians weren't so fucking nauseating and lacking in considered judgement, I would probably call myself one.

That is what holds the movement back: that there are so many aspie right-wing young lib "libertarians" who only care about making sure their daddies don't have to pay taxes but don't give a shit about the "undesirables" of society or social freedom in general.

I actually don't like labelling myself as anything, because I feel it's lazy and makes me feel like a lemming.

I'm just saying that there are a lot of awfully irritating people who call themselves "libertarians" who fight for "freedom" (mostly in America). End of Quote. :p

All of the above is quite true. As ever, many people use political-veiw-labels that they most probably do not understand to vent other ideologies. In America, as stated above, Liberalism/Liberatarianism appears to be in the hands of those who love splattering political-correctness around in the most supurb and sophistic manner. As with the proposed health-care system, those fighting against it under the "Liberatarianism" tag are confusing freedom (to health-care) with totalitarian-socialism, "the nemisis of capitalism". They are not fighting for freedom and equality for all, just for their paranoid selves.

This is just an example, though if there were to be a new-liberatarianism, for it to not fall into rampent social-inequality as has happened elsewhere, the issue of what it is raised for must not be confused with other ideologies by the community.

Of course I've only read the first half of the first page, so if the topic's evolved or someones already mentioned what I've ranted on about so far, oh well. I hope this wasn't too boring for you! :D

It's probably just natural variation, as with the influx of idiot Libertarians last year.
idiot statists: Ron Paul is just an idiot redneck blah blah not even touching on his beleifs blah blah blah libertarians want rape to be legal

"idiot" libertarians: I want self-sovereignty and don't want anyone else, especially the government, telling me how i can and can't live my own life, with the use of force

No, it's equivalent to saying "cars are inherently the wrong method of transport for our present situation".

So your point was that there's a difference between idiocy in presentation and idiocy in content?

His beliefs? Like his belief that creationism is 'good science'? Well I certainty don't agree with that, I think the evidence overwhelmingly supports evolution by means of natural selection and random mutation.

This paranoia about the Australian government using undue 'force' is also very short-sighted, yes they are not perfect, but what makes you think that if 'we' abolish the government, no one will use 'force' to exploit others...
Your arguments almost always amount to babyish wish thinking, and you simply fail to provide the logic that links your propositions (i.e. No banking regulations) with your conclusions (i.r crisis free financial system).

The fundamental question here is why do go so far out of your way to project your victim/persecution complex onto internet forums. I mean it's highly likely that you've never been 'violated' by the government in your life..you most likely received a free education, utilize public transport, benefit from a Commonwealth Supported place at university, etc...what's so terrible about this life?
You just come across as a self-centered paranoid crank.

If the cost to fix the car is more than the cost of a new one...

What the fuck do ron paul's retarded views have to do with this discussion?

What if your car killed millions of people, broke down all the time and even when running was much less efficient than other cars?

The Ron Paul canard is an easy way to colour the opponent and close discussion.

What part of Australia's political system kills millions of people?

The wars, imprisonment of innocent people, poverty...

It was a joke, I just liked the image of some guy owning a car that killed millions, let's not make a thing out of this. Corporations are just as bad as governments, I don't believe in nothing.
