People that say that women that stay are idiots, I think don't know what they're talking about. Sure, in theory you would walk out. But I can imagine that if you're being abused, controlled, it can get to the point where you think you can't get out.
Fear can be pretty powerful.

What we're forgetting is that the girls that stay in these relationships still see the good in it. Now, 90% of the time this guy could be great and 10% of the time he could be abusive in everyway. When this happens, it's a bit of a mindfuck to an insecure girl, no?
But he could be great too, then what, Graney?

great people + abuse = not great people
However the point was. If someone was abusive 100% of the time, the other person would fuck right off. There's obviously a reason domestic violence exists and abused people stay in these relationships.

Hmm, yeh, I would like to know why people do stay in such relationships.

vannilla_latte, i've gotta be honest with you.

if i were a no hoper from cabramatta and i realised i was going to wake up next to your fat, nagging ass every day, i'd probably belt you with a copper pipe on a regular basis too

Emotional/psychological issues count as what? all 3? People need help, these support bodies are there, but how many people check themselves into rehab? People need others. To call them weak is like saying a person going through physical rehab with help is also weak.

katie tully, thanks for being honest with me.

but id like to correct you.

i am not the one in an abusive relationship. no one is "belting" me at all.

and thankyou for your concern that you think i am fat. i will take this into consideration the next time i look in a mirror.
