so let's talk about the stigma of 'pre-nuptial agreements'.
girls, would you sign one?
guys, would you sign one?
the stint about tara reid calling of the wedding, because her fiances father gave her an ultimatum has got me thinking.
but then of course who the heck would marry her without one?? gold digging cum guzzling slut.
i'll give you a few scenarios.
1) you get what you had prior to the marriage (so whatever the assets you think you would have prior to the wedding ceremony). fiancees family have a few million in assets.. no-prenup means no wedding
2) you get 10% if in the unfortunate event that you divorce. (your fiancee is a rising star in the legal/financial/hollywood scene.. but currently has nothing). you will also not get any child/wife support on top of that.. if you choose to have children (for simplicity's sake we won't go into possibilities with litigation in the family court). no pre-nup means no wedding
3) you get $2 million settlement (the fiancees family is a multi-millionaire (in the tens of millions).. again, no pre-nup means no wedding.
now do not think of these in relation to the other. you obviously can't choose which scenario you would be offered, so take them individually, in prospect.
so if i were given scenario 1).. i would.. .. 2) i would not 3) etc.
not 'i would choose 2)'
edit: are you gonna get one if you get married?
