You need to write a report on a small business about how they market, profit/loss, customer base etc, then you have to write about ways the business can improve and stuff.

+financial records, records of interviews, phone calls, pictures. Google would not suffice.

I meant Google to find the businesses you might want to interview. Then go directly to them.

Do you know anyone who works for a small firm, that could give you a general idea. Something like accounting, graphic design etc.

Or just look for a local business, call them, and ask if it's possible to schedule an interview.

I also have the option of doing a government office... but i'm too scared to talk to the state director

It doesn't really matter which business you pick. Just take a stab in the phonebook and call a number.

Annoying thing is my teacher says you cannot do it at Places you work because it is a unfair advantage

I'll probably harass some local businesses at the shops

Lol I hope my teacher will let us do a large businesses like woolworths even though I work there makes it so much easier

I wanna look for a job this year just for a bit of extra pocket money, but I have nothing to put on a resume. I'm not involved in any extra-curricular activities in school, I have no prior work experience, my grades aren't exceptional and I have done no volunteer work. Basically, I have a blank, non-existant resume :/

Any of the major charities would probably let you. Salvation Army would be a start. Or some businesses may let you do some basic office work for them.
