Creative writing technique question (1 Viewer)

In my creative writing I was going to have flashbacks throughout the piece. Say for example, its this girls first day of school - as she walks through the playground she has flashbacks to breakfast of that morning when she was speaking to her father.

1st paragraph = entering gates
2nd paragraph = getting cereal
3rd paragraph = waving at friend
4th paragraph = speaking to father

Would the marker be off put by use of flashbacks throughout it?

No, it's fine. It may be good to indicate a new section though with: ***** between paragraphs

Flashbacks are good, if I recall correctly the marking criteria says that ppl who utilised a linear structure usually received low marks as the essay was deemed too 'simple'
