heya, if the question is asking you to focus on environment, you'd want to be talking about extrinsic factors such as cultural identity, community, assimilation within family etc

i spose you could keep mentioning mental environment, that's smart
but its more of an intrinsic factor imo
thanks that helps its just i do the immigrant chronicles and im best at using postcard and ancestors so i was trying to find a way to link ancestors to the whole environment thing

I believe they at least gave you extracts of the texts to talk about? amirite?
Yeppers.
They had a page of curious incident of the dog in the night time, first stanza of dulce et decorum est, etc.

If using ancestors, why not just say his environment isolates him as a result his search for belonging is ambiguous and fractured.... thennn tenuous links about dreamscape etc.

Economics s/a: Terms of Trade (was particularly high at the time when papers where being written)
: ESD (line up with the election promise of no Carbon tax) [btw load of bs]
: No idea what 3rd one will be
English AOS: use both alienation and belonging (used in a lot of trial papers and they usually guess right) with 1 related text for essay
: For creative writing, you chose what genre, but it will be based on an image and I believe it will be very specific to get rid of those who came in with prepared answes
Mathematics: a hard paper ( it was easier last year)
Legal Studies: very easy; crime s/a will be on international crime
: world order essay will be on legal and non-legal mechanism
: family will also be on legal and non-legal
Studies of Religion 2: Religion and Peace will ONLY ask for world peace
: m/c straightforward
: religious traditions will be on environmental ethics

@whoever has concerns about mod c... let's be reasonable, it's been at least one related text for EVERY SINGLE YEAR since 2002. i'm pretty sure they're not going to randomly fuck with us like that.
i agree
but at the same time, wasn't AOS two relateds every single year before 2009? you never know haha
don't troll us board! :L

Module C English Advanced - Only 1 related.

Module B Eng Adv - Name specific poems + specific theme OR a speech

Belonging essay will be ones place in the world

Belonging creative will be based on a image stimulus - 4 images, just like our School Certificate!

Doubttttttt it. omg they better not ask for 1 related in module C. I don't think they'll ask for a specific poem in mod B.

I honestly hope it isn't place because that's the one thing I can't adapt my quotes and shit to. :/
I'll have to read the crucible/watch my movie again.
I kinda hope it is.

My belonging essay is so universal but it fits place perfectly.

It was always ONE related. But one year they asked for TWO.

ah sorry, i meant AT LEAST one. I'm pretty sure 2009 was the first year they specified ONE (as in, only one) and it's been like that since.

but yeah, its unlikely to change this year

Um so i just read in the latest news from board of Studies its says:
On Wednesday students enrolled in English Standard complete three essays in two hours, one each on Experience through language, Close study of a text, and Texts and society. English Advanced students also write three essays in two hours. They are based on Comparative study of texts and content, Critical study of texts, Representation and Text.
So does that mean we are definately writing three essays?
