I don't think I am crazy although I am beginning to doubt myself now.

For the past two months or so I keep hearing birds tweeting/chirping all the time. It is always the same noise repeated over and over and occurs both during the day (i.e. I hear it when lying in bed in the morning) and at night (I hear it again when lying in bed at night) as well as during the day.

I haven't been hearing or seeing anything else, although I've been having some pretty scary nightmares lately (never suffered from these before) and been having trouble sleeping sometimes as a result.

What should I do? It is not really a huge problem, although it is un-nerving.

As I read this thread, a bird happens to be chirping, seriously. :s

Just focus on something else.

I do, it doesn't bother me, it is just there in the background occasionally.

It could be actually be birds outside; did you consider that? It use to occur more than often for me, until the neighbour across the road chopped down a 20m tall tree.

I considered that at first, although it is always the same noise repetitively and occurs at all times of the day.

I think the best option would be to speak to a doctor about it.

It's either a tumour or a bird outside your window that doesn't sleep.

You may be in a dream world and the best option would be to succumb to the bird noises, fall asleep and to work out which reality is the dream and which isn't. Then, you need to kill yourself in the dream world in order to wake up in the real world.
