imo, telling lies would be worse...but if the lie was to protect someone, then id do it.
if it was a secret about me (i have heaps btw), then i wouldnt see why it would be bad to keep them from anyone.
but if they were secrets about other people, then i still wont see why it would be bad to keep them from anyone, considering how that person trusted me with their secret, i wouldnt go and breach that trust.
