pretty much how i was dancing on formal night, but other ppl were dancing it with me. also one of our teachers got drunk and started dancing, funniest shit ever(probably more than one got drunk but he's the only one who got drunk and danced)

Plus I had to carry the train ish part around for a while.

If i'm bothered, i'll get mine custom made. It's going to have the top part of this dress [but the bow will be at the back, beneath the lace up corset]:

With a lace up corset back

and the bottom part like this:

but with chiffon layers on top

or if I cbfed getting it custom made, I bet i'll end up with something like this:

I suppose that's the style nowadays. But seriously, I'm sure there were people more crappily dressed at your formal - that dress is a relatively good one. I've seen some formal dresses which are absolutely shocking, like they form the base to an ostrich suit or something <_< /100% srs
