Apparently my school is making all of us students sign a chastity agreement in our first religion lesson. We have to agree to not have sex until we are married.

Has anyone else's school made them do this?
Or is the new thing to do?

Legally, the can't make you sign anything that you don't want to. Don't do it if you don't want to - they can't do anything about it, no matter what they say.

Personally I'd tell them to get fucked and complain to as many people as possible. However, as people have previously said, you're underage so legally you can't enter into a contract so if you're not into the whole "FIGHT FOR MY RIGHTS! YEAH!", you might as well sign it.

yeh i think I agree with you, I go to a catholic school and they'd never make me do something like this.

Maybe at a really hard religous school that practices a stricter religion but I can't imagine this happening at a catholic or any other mainstream christian school.

If this person is christian, maybe the school in question is jewish or Islamic
