cant quote because on phone but i doubt BBC will release it sooner because between star trek, the hobbit and doctor who, it will probably take a while.

no yeah watson is the hobbit and sherlock is someone in star trek. can't remember who but yeah
they all have stuff to do
that said, apparently season 3 was commissioned at the same time as 2 so maybe it is already written or whatever.

And the best thing about Sherlock is that it's a modern interpretation of the classic stories (yet the episodes still adhere to what Sir Arthur Conan Doyle originally wrote about the famous detective ), and in that sense it's extremely innovative ... It's just brilliant, and every ep leaves you wanting more ^_^
