Has anyone else just reached the point of realisation that they actually have to put some work in?

I've just been cruising along, doing my assignments the night before. This used to work, but it's not anymore :(

So, as an individual who has just started to study, my question is.. how the shit do you do it?! It's not sticking in my brain.

I've just kinda realised I'm not living up to my potential. :/

I realised the seriousness of the HSC, but its just that I don't have enough discipline to study and plan ahead. Now I'm stuck cramming for my half yearlies so yeah, not a good habit...

It's quite hard, but I guess just start doing your homework, catching up in the holiday coming, summarise all your dot point, try to spend at least 2 hours a day or more if you can to study :)

Better to make it goal based rather than time. i used to do time and didn't get many things done. Just kicked back :p

It's the sitting down to study bit for me. I always end up procrastinating.
See, I'm doing it now. I should be studying for my extension english exam tomorrow but instead I'm sitting on bored of studies. :p

OH MY GOD. THISTHISTHISTHISTHIS. I had this epiphany today when I got my english assessment back and got an absolutely shit mark. And I have half-yearlies starting tomorrow and have barely done any study...I think I'm going to actually try, now.

Guys lets all stop procrastinating and X the window and think of yourself as a garbage truck driver if you don't do well :p

Someone told me garbage truck drivers earn a fair bit. Not sure if they were telling the truth or trying to make me feel better since that seems like a possible career choice for me.

To stop procrastination, imagine you were here (after the HSC):

This reminds me. I am so watching all episodes of Pokemon! (and movies!)

(90s kids for the win!)
