I find it hilarious that you are quoting wikipedia BUT HAVE NO FEAR LOL, il still debate you...You quoted An Nisa...THE VERY VERSES that state that men are more powerful than women, therefore they should be their guardians, is that really a smart move? Women have rights today...they can have their own homes...their own cars. I dont think they are waiting for your Bedouin prophet to give them permission anymore.

I am not a scholar of Islam. Nor am I qualified to answer your question. So on this forum, in front of everyone I cannot offer a universal opinion on this. I can however answer your question personally; 1. There is no unilateral punishment as far as I am aware. 2 I happen to be married - If my wife commited adultery I would try to forgive her if she expresses remorse and leave her.

I think your intended question is "what is the worst punishment for the worst degree of Adultery under Sharia Law".. again - Im not qualified to answer that question.

Anyway now THIS is truly off-topic. Back to above on freedom of speech which is an applicable topic to this protest

I completely agree what peccadillo has raised about the so called western "freedom of speech". Putting religion aside( that is whether Islam supports this or not), if i was to go to an Anzac parade with a group(10) of muslims, and chant slurs like "you're soldiers are in hell", will i not be confronted and persecuted??

Just to let people know, 5 minutes ago I was subject to western Freedom of Speech at it's very best. Admin removes disgusting Anti-Islamist propaganda meme posted by *someone* of which I cannot detail. I kind of wish Admin left that so people could see what kind of a person he is.
ADMIN removed it after I had seen it, I posted a refute to the meme - pointing out its irony, it's abhorrent nature and it's idiocy.
The meme was not funny - It looked like it has been created by an EDL member seems only intent on inciting xenophobic hatred.

I think it is unfair it was removed.. Admin told me it's because it was off-topic however I would suggest it was no more Off Topic than much else of what has been discussed in this thread. I believe it was removed simply because it was a step too far and because it add's fuel to the idea that there is much content out there which is purely to incite hatred through an anti-islamist agenda - yet some hide behind "oh he was just trying to be funny".

This exemplifies the flaw with western notions of freedom of speech/expression - its conditionality - its ambiguity. If you want to promote freedom of expression let *someone* express his sentiment! Let him express his view and let people make their own judgment on that view! Why not I ask? "Off topic?" I doubt that very much.

Freedom of speech isn't overly applicable on a private forum. It's only applicable to public spheres. This is not a public sphere. This space is owned by iStudy, who own BoS. The forum owners have a right to block whatever material they like. It's a forum, not a nation. If you don't like their rules you can easily use another forum. Just like you can't use freedom of speech as an excuse to barge into my house and put up Islamic/socialist/nationalist/[insert-ideology-here] propoganda on my walls because you think that you have the right to. I have the right to censor what is part of my private property. What I don't have the right to do is block that opinion being voiced elsewhere. If it happens that 100% of forums and websites individually decide to block that video from being posted, then tough shit, democracy rules, find a new way to broadcast it in the public sphere.

Plenty of nationalist idiots probably would confront you and it would probably get violent. Because they don't understand the concept of freedom of speech either. Can an Admin (not you moll) please define the line that was crossed? I think it's important to clarify this in the interest of evaluating whether or not this video maybe did protrude over that line at all? If this forum truly promotes freedom of speech that so many of it's members are so keen to defend. And wishes to enforce its rules presumably based on similar ideologies? I don't know what BoS's rules are. Ask Rafy. I didn't decide them. I just use the forum. And there is nothing that says that BoS can't go the way of Stormfront and become a forum dedicated to anti-Islamic ideas. Just because HSC students use it for study doesn't mean you have some sort of claim to control. It's a private business.

Yeah, that's why they had to call so many police reinforcements, including the riot squad, several choppers from all over Sydney, to contain a group of 500 protesters that consisted of several children and women. Dont get me wrong here. What im trying to say is not that Muslims should be feared but rather just pointing out your arrogance. we could easily crush these violent mobs

imo, ill say it again. in my opinion( im not an islamic scholar), islam does see fornication as a sin, and the harshest possible punishment is getting stoned to death. I see this as nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed of. Its a law, to u it my seem absurd, but nevertheless u sure have to respect the faith of others. In malaysia, drug trafficking is a death penalty. One may find that extremely absurd, but still u must respect their law as applies for all religions.
