Is the results check worth it, I worked hard all year and received such bad results. These are my HSC marks which I am really worried about, I wanted to do medicine but did really shit after getting these results.

I was pretty confident in Bio, maths 2u and SOR 1U, and was expecting a band 5 at least in each? I don't really know what happened, anyone else thinks they got wrong marks from BOS?

Got an Atar of 69.95, WTF not even any band 5's at all.

It is bullshit how you have to pay for your results check, it should be free, if not then how can you beleive Bos checking your results, they could bullshit and say notthing is wrong with the marks.

Biology 76 4
Chemistry 69 3
English (Advanced) 68 3
Mathematics 78 4
Mathematics Extension 1 37 E3
Studies of Religion I 38 4

do it if you want, i did it. waiting on the results to come in.

sucks how they make you pay for a results check if you only want raw marks. but whatever, hopefully they lost an english essay or my industrial option for chem haha

its not fair, why should we pay when they check the results behind our back, seriously its likely that they will say no mistake.

1. how long would it take for the results check to come?

2 if they made a mistake, would your HSC results and Atar change before main round offers?

Maybe you were just mislead by your school marking easy for the internal tasks?

Do it, i'm not telling you not to but the likely chance that BOS have incorrect marks for ALL your subjects is highly unlikely. Remember your performance within internal tasks has little correlation with the hsc, the marketing criteria varies.

Sorry but it does look like your perception of how you were doing was not consistent with how you were actually performing.

The chance that marks in all your subjects would be wrong is essentially nil.

Where is the evidence, can you prove it, bring me all my HSC exam papers for bio, maths 2u and SOr 1U and tell me how I got those marks, come on you can do this, "CM"

I bit you can't do this, sorry to say you don't know how hard I worked,

I don't think so, I worked hard all year and studied hard for all my final HSC exams. bro, I don't understand, I didn't get a single band 6 or 5 at all, how is that possible, I was averaging 80+ in maths 2u and biology and SOR 1U throughout the year.

The biology and sor 1u exam was really easy and I believe I did well in them, don't know wtf happened with my marks,

Bro, it can't be that hard to get a band 5 or 6. I worked hard all year for band 5's and 6's but didn't get any, this is pretty unfair because I don't know if they honestly gave me the right marks,

your school might have marked at a differnet standard to the hsc markers, it's not that uncommon for this to occur

This could be right, but why/how is my performance in my HSC exam lower then my assessment marks,

Come on, it wouldn't be that hard to get a band 6, I beleive I was marked unfair and got wrong marks.

I am smart and I believe I got a band 5 for bio and sor and maths 2u atleast. Fucken BOS,

It is very sad because I wanted to do medicine, but my dream is gonne,

your first sentence is something that was just explained

i appreciate it is disappointing but perhaps your views are influence by the complacency resulting from how easily your school may have marked your assessment, that does not mean the hsc markers were unfair at all as they mark everyone to the same standard

there are a lot of other avenues into medicine including applying again next year and re-sitting UMAT (pick a course u can do well in for a competitve GPA) or you could consider a post-graduate route

X amount of hours doesn't mean X mark. Study smart not study hard.

I'm sure you did work hard, i'm not saying you didn't, but not everybody is a band 5/6 student.

The stats for results checks indicate that only about 1% of results are changed. (http://community.boredofstudies.org/showthread.php?t=316364)

Get your results checked if you want, in fact I suggest you do so you have some confirmation that you have correct results, just don't get your hopes up.

there is no such thing as studying smart, are you ok there bro,

It is all about working hard, I believe you know this because you worked your ass all day studying for your Atar.

Don't lie, cause ^ this is a fact all those 99.95 know,

What can I do now, I don't want to waste my money on results check if they check behind my back, I will pay if Bos checks my papers in front of my face. This way I can be a sure they are honestly checking properly,

I mean, anyone would want to check their results face to face, what is the point of paying then,

Order your raw marks and your exam responses and check them yourself.

Hey Rafy,

but I wouldn't know my align marks, also it would cost alot.

Is there a way you could help me out, I only need one more bonus points because UWs will give me 10 bonus points,

I want to do B. health science/M of podiatric medicine at UWS 80.3, I got 69.95. This is very sad, cause I might not get in,

Do you think, I can still get in with 79.95 Atar into that ^ course at uws. I am only missing 0.35,
