Maybe I have a different definition to electronic then.....

What I mean is repetitive use of a range of beats (so the exact same 8 notes in a set), but the amount of sets are not limited.

So the set has discrete values (essentially digital with any amount of bits), and there are as many different sets as possible.

I will note that typically with the icd CH songs quite a few sets will have the same amount of discrete "bits".

That's just my definition and hence confusion (I've never been a big music fan so all I listen to is that type of stuff and r'n'b and a bit of old school rap).

So by my definition, I could classify some music which is made by instruments but slightly adjusted or something as electronic.

I reckon icd and ready for the weekend were the best.

Though icd has some really wacky ones (and drug referenced lyrics) which kinda ruin them in a sense. Some of the ones in RftW are just shifted towards edm a bit too much.

18 months is just something completely different and I think its quite shithouse in comparison with no songs that stand out in the crowd of some in the earlier albums.

@ anomalous; yeah icd is pretty weird. i don't mind 18months too much; a lot of the tracks are pretty feel good/pop music (w/ example, florence, ellie goulding), which isn't too bad once in a while.

Nah those are the shit ones from 18.

There's only two good ones from it.

Icd is not necessarily weird. Its still imo his best album.

The patterns are weird in a unique manner. The way the music is made is just different.

Though some of the lyrics are ridiculous in terms of references.
