Hey, i need to decide on whether i go to engineering for USYD or UTS. Is e12 scheme for engineering at usyd good and what are the benefits and disadvantages for each uni regarding engineering.

Have you considered UNSW?

I don't know much about USyd or UTS in terms of engineering.

Yes, UNSW is first preference but the atar aim is a bit high IMO, so UTS offers bonus schemes for me and i am eligible for some flexible entry pathways, similar USYD offers e12 for my school. My preference are UNSW>UTS>USYD. also my parents are pretty strict on me to try and get a scholarship so i get work with my degree. any1 flexible entry pathways to UNSW? and scholarship lists?

Scholarships are very very far and few in between.

You are still in year 11 so you have plenty of time to do well in HSC.

Have you looked into applying for co-op at UNSW?

You need a 96 ATAR but I was applying with knowledge that I could have gotten an ATAR in the 80's.

I did actually get the ATAR requirement however I did not get offered an interview but that's another story altogether. But yeah you should apply for it if you think you can get to 90 possibly. There are quite a few scholarships at UNSW which you could get but they are discipline specific ones so yeah depends on where you are going.

Man if my parents were like that I wouldn't be doing electrical. That would suck though tbh.

I still can't help you on the front of UTS or USyd.

I'm assuming for UTS and USyd and UNSW its similar.

However it does depend on the program you do I guess.

And more than anything experience is key too.

Between UTS and USYD, definitely UTS and they also have the mandatory one year work experience which is really helpful in finding jobs after you graduate.

Not sure if you realise but you do have to find your own work experience.

Same thing at UNSW. You have to do mandatory 60 days work experience to graduate. Sad thing is when people don't graduate on time simply because they did not do their work experience and end up taking longer than usual to graduate.

Other than that I can't help much in terms of USyd or UTS engineering. Don't know much about their programs.
