Too many things are stressing me out and I don't have time for this shit. Like you would thing my biggest issue would be "I have exams" but it's not and none of the stupid things that are being stupid heads are really worth spending my time on but I duckling have to and I'm duckling mad!!!

Whole lot of people freaked out at their marks. Wonderful stuff.

And it's not an accounting unit!

MQ uni incorrectly informed me I could split my degree. Almost took preferences down through UAC.

Then I called to double confirm and then found out the person had incorrectly advised me [emoji23]

Bloody MQ. Bringing my hopes up and smashing them to pieces.

Lol, when I was doing a first sem accounting subject a few years ago a lot of people were getting confused about how to calculate the marks they needed to pass the subject

I was just talking to a good friend of mine who goes to macq, I thought they ran on the same time line at uts, so told him you must be enjoying your holidays and he replied back saying the exam period actually just started, surprised me there, i wonder why they started a bit later

btw insolvencyreaper I think you used to do accounting at unsw? how come you swapped over btw?

We have a 13 week semester, with a 2 week break mid way through semester. Week 13 is generally revision, and the 3 weeks after this are he formal exam period. Each year has 2 standard sessions, and a shorter, optional summer session.

I'm fairly sure most universities run different timetables now. I thought UTS was switching to a trimester system, which might explain how you finished a bit sooner. From memory I think WSU also started about 2-3 weeks ahead of us this semester too.

Yeah UTS has 11 weeks, so while those at UTS were starting/finishing exams we were doing weeks 12/13. Haha.

Oh, I had a rough time at UNSW. It was a bad period of my life. I'd like to say it was to transfer into Comm/law which is how I've been rationalising it but truth is, I dropped out (if only for a second). I then realised I need a degree hahaah, so I applied through UAC for Comm/law at MQ and got in [emoji23]

Omg, while i'm here... ACCG200 exam was so easy. I think I have a chance at resurrecting my shit mark, and getting at least a distinction [emoji23]

Yeah UTS has 11 weeks, so while those at UTS were starting/finishing exams we were doing weeks 12/13.

I think it's supposed to be 12 + a week 0 "Orientation Week" where they can set preparation tasks, but I think we end up losing one of those to public holidays anyway.

I really wish MQ split degrees- it would make my life so much easier. I was really liking at MQ too... I like the campus [emoji17]

Completed commerce, getting the award and continuing the law component and being awarded a law award further down the track.

Interesting, I guess a split degree gives you the flexibility of not going with law if you don't wish, but I assume it affects your degree quite badly (in terms of length) should you decide to proceed with law?
