I used NotesEdu(paid) for practice tests, and just grinded the year 8 cambridge maths textbook. i mean, it did help but i don't think i prepared enough for the english side of things- there were a ton of vocab questions in verbal reasoning and i had to make an educated guess for 3 of them. next year ima work towards improving my vocabulary and reading more books
I don't know why I am advertising for them but elevate has improved my vocabulary and helped my friends substantially, I haven't come across any phrases but I'm sure they have games on them if you pay. (I didn't pay but I haven't used it in a while)

comparing everything with mx2 is very biased lol
see for ur self on the hsc scaling graph with something like physics then. its still much higher than agriculture.

after all majority people who do agriculture are probably in some shitty rural town with no regard for education. this is why it scales badly.

also i heard jr accelerates ag? so if it doesnt work out then its fine
does JR not accelerate math advanced?

are they that dense?

they really could boost the average mark for math advanced if they did do accelerated math advanced. because otherwise most smart people will just do extension 2 and 1 without even touching advanced hsc exam.

it's funny since I actually did better than JR average in the 2024 math advanced paper, i though they used shitty cambridge textbook and are soooo intelligent?

you can see the max mark scaled mark is 45 out of 50 for a 100 hsc mark in agriculture (not even considering how hard 100 is to get in a subjective subject either). Do you know the implications of this? If this were to count, it would cap your atar to like 98.95. This is a very substansial cap, especially people who want to do med and need a 99.95

Even then, you shouldn't be doing subjects that have an atar cap at all. All that implies is that it scales absolutely horribly, which is evident and visualsed in the graph.

scaling is most helpful if you're not planning on getting a 100 on any exams - that is pretty much everybody.

I'm pretty sure this table is bullshit. It's considering subjects regardless of whether they counted or not. Typically UAC L.

It's entirely possible abo studies never counted, but the person just did it and managed to get a 99.35 from other subjects
here, then.
