i did HORRIBLY in the last 3 assesment blocks. i had a lot of with my issues mental and physical health and i basically did jackshit the entire year and barely studied. is it still possible to get a 90 atar if i put in my all for trials and hsc?? i go to a top 50 school but idk how much that means

my subjects:
english adv: 90/154
math adv: bottom 20
business, biology, chemistry (bottom 10 ik its rlly bad)

i dont think im THAT stupid i used to get decent marks in y11 and i also tbh didnt rlly study then. i literally dont have any motivation and my marks are a direct result of my lack of effort. is it realstic to get a 90-94 atar still or am i screwed??? what atar should i be expecting?? and also any advice from anyone who was in a similiar position to me and edned up getting a good atar would be greatly appreciated!!!

um realistically probably not unless you scale the trials and hsc with like almost close to full marks

i think its possible! straight b5s can still get you to having an atar in the 90s range. but yes you will have to work very hard

Remember, the HSC exam is 50% of your HSC mark. If you do what you say, you can certainly go well there.
The other half you may have left too late as you only have the trial to improve your rank. You need to smash it out of the park, just to move up to a reasonable position. If you can get somewhere closer to the middle of your cohort, even just below it, 90 isn't out of the question. (Top 50 school, most of the cohort wants to do well, and will).
In the end, no matter what you get, there are opportunities everywhere, it just means you take the long way round. I know lots of people who didn't do well in HSC, but still ended up doing law or medicine.
