Well that depends where you live? At the moment I don't have any tutors as I'm spending my money on quality maths books and study guides instead. However in the past I went to a guy that was local to me. 'Mr. Mason' Used to be a teacher at my school, extremely friendly he charges $40 per lesson (last time I checked anyway) and I found him helpful with maths.
Ah true. You won't though haha! But again, you'll be laughing at me when I'm in year 12 and you're at university haha

Mind you though it's not actually a subject. It's not an HSC or anything subject, just happens once a fortnight for the sake of having it XD Luckily there's no work.
Ethics sounds so fun. I'm jealous. Haha, sometimes I feel that schools care more about appearance than education And I'll tell you next year how hard SOR is. It's great that we get to learn about other religions though! 11 years of learning about Catholicism was way too long!

Aha ethics is actually pretty good. Our teacher has a doctorate in religion but he's good because he tries never to bring religion into our ethics classes. Besides movies win anyway (and they're relevant)
Aha yeah if our hair is too long or we're not shaven, we get sent to the local barber and they'll give you a no.1 :S So far most people have escaped that XD We'd be dead if we died our hair!

Great, everyone's feeling the HSC vibe, finally the year 12 room is MINE ALL MINE XD Aha basically we all have houses and each house has a private lounge room for year 12's of that house and it's finally ours, after all those years of waiting
Classes have started work, but I don't mind as I want to get started. Had my first free/study period, never had such freedom before XD
How's school for you?
I can't do realism either. I love organic shapes, they are much more fun. The hard thing about abstract stuff is that it either looks great or it's horrible
I rather have an ethics class than to do SOR! Seriously, every religion lesson that we have, most people are closing their eyes or literally falling asleep. It is that boring. Our religion teacher often has to work out and call out names and/or tap people to wake them up, seriously.
Oh and thank God I wasn't sent home. I was told that my hair was a bit long but not long enough to get me sent home haha, lucky! Some people got sent home because their hair was too long or they dyed it.
I think SOR's scaling is average but it is not as great as they make it seem
So, how was the first day back at school?
Aha I haven't drawn in a super long time and I've never spent enough to get overly good at it But I prefer drawing, can't for the life of me do realism yet so I'm focusing on more Manga type styles. <-- That itself is actually rather hard
Wow it's actually compulsorary, for a religious school such as mine I'm amazed that isn't the case for us. We just have one period every 2 weeks on a Friday which is an ethics class (aka watching movies that relate to ethics)
Does SOR actually scale well or...?
Wait, your an artist? You never told me! Haha, I prefer sculptures though but I don't mind drawing So what do you draw?
I have to get invited though, hopefully I do otherwise I'll have to do something like photography, marine studies or SOR 2U haha
Because I go to a Catholic school and it's mandatory I think I've told you this before but our school tried to make it seem like we had a choice haha. Last term or something we had a one hour presentation from the religion teachers and they were comparing the scaling with other subjects. SOR always came first, even with 4U maths They said that's why people do SOR, because of the scaling. Lol.

And yessss you're doing Ext Eng, trust me it is most certainly worth it! It'll grow on you over the year. (Our school made it a great course, for others people had a bad course) so I can't guarantee everything you'll be doing. It helps a lot with your Advanced and also is great for HSC scaling etc.

What subjects are you doing for year 11?
Yeah I know quite a few people who are doing both but when I asked a few teachers they suggested to do either Business Studies or Economics. I chose Economics I'm quite happy with my subjects actually -
