Im in a pretty shitty situation now ay.. My UAI was 58.90 .. My RET score was 59 .. And my course cut off is 60.00, lol. What are my chances? lol.. Everyone is saying late round I should get in.. I'm hoping that too. But from experience.. what do ya'll think?

I'm guessing they give it where it falls due. Like 2 at the max.

As I have 2 as my preferences, what is the demand for Science courses at UWS ?? In specific, B of Food Science, and B of Science .. Im guessing it isn't that high, and they would accept people below the cut off ? (Cut off of 60.00)

It doesn't fluctuate dramatically bro. Generally 2-3 points above your cut off and you'll be alright. Which Uni is this at btw?? UNSW, USyd and UTS don't fluctuate a great deal. Although I remember a few Engineering courses were 74.00 in 04, and jumped up to 84.00 in 06.. Hardly happens though...

The RET and STAT doesn't give you 10 extra UAI points. The way it works is, the RET score replaces your orginal UAI if you UAI is no more then 10 points less then you're RET score. eg, RET: 70 .. UAI: 60. Your UAI here is automatically pushed to 70 because it is within 10. If you don't...

I got 13/15 for it in the trial ... if not for silly grammar and punctual errors I would of achieved a 15. So basically, focus on the basics and make sure you answer what they are asking.
