    Talking about religion always gets this way. I think the reason I get so caught up in these sorts of threads is because I feel strongly about religion, but I have no one to discuss it with lol - I don't go anywhere NEAR the topic of religion near my friends because I value their friendship too much to get into an argument with them about our differing beliefs.
    But anyway :) Hope you're enjoying post-HSC life :)

    Also I prolly wouldn't care enough to keep the convo going this long, at the least I'd be just about over the whole thing, lolz.

    It appears to me that all the flaming started only after I'd come on and starting talking about definitions of atheism and religion (which in the grand scheme of things doesn't matter anyway - a rose by any other name would smell as sweet, etc etc), so I do apologise D= I just though the Buddhism thing would be an interesting thing to bring up seeing as people were saying the two don't mix; didn't mean to start all the name-calling and nasty stuff =/
    I've long ago come to terms that people in this world will believe in things that I completely disagree with. I don't disrespect others due to this, but I do question. But anything I ask about is simply out of curiosity, not malice. Just so you know. =)

    i'm doing modern though. french revolution and middle ages and stuff. i hate the lectures. i dont understand anything and i feel bad sitting there clueless while everyone's busy scibbling down notes.

    lawl, I was just saying that I'd also be taking part in the religion threads more than what I do, only other people in those threads are saying what I would say, which would make my posts redundant. Also I just wouldn't be saying them with the malice and hate that they are, which I don't really understand tbh.
    For that reason I only post when I have a burning question basically :)

    I'd be more involved in the 'discussion' if it weren't that other people p much say what I'd be saying anyway, albeit adding flaming and shit to detract from their overall credibility.

    I am disappointed. Your compentency to this ponit has been unquestionable. However, I still think your are quite competent. It's sad, in my opinion you think such, however, as I myself have friends of the same veiw as you, people of high morality and kindness, really really good people, I can easily assume the same for you. Oh well. I suppose, as on everything, I can assume that your veiws, as mine are too, come from indoctrination. None of us are immune to it. :D
