  • I understand, and thank you for your feedback
It is a very subtle topic and I can't help but think the fine lines are a bit too blurred. Hence why I tend to prefer the does god exist thread as it is much broader and caters for my needs :)
Yeah, no worries. Feel free to say whatever you want. I won't mind. =)

But, just wanna make this clear. This is what religion means to you:

"...the cause of so many atrocities and tells billions of people that they must believe in a God responsible for slaughter and murder the world over or else they will suffer eternal torture and torment."

    :D
    Wow.

You're more critical than I am in relation to the Bible. :p

Why do you hate religion so much?
    No, I'm sorry.

I didn't mean to criticise it .. I was just expressing what I had heard.

But isn't it true? That it has been altered a lot of times, hence it is not the original word of God?

    Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you.:D
Haha, I think people are generally too tired to argue right now, with the 10'ers dealing with assessments, 11'ers worrying about their subject choices and 09'ers trying to get used to uni. :p
I'm not sure. I can't decide between the two atm, need more info. The only thing that I know right now is that UNSW has cooler-looking buildings but apparently has too many fobs and crappy transport, however these things shouldn't be a factor besides course quality (right? lol). But if I will be doing Pharmacy, I would like to do it at USYD since UNSW doesn't offer it.
Wow, that's a lot of extensions, nice. :)

I am looking into doing a science related course such as biomedical engineering, pharmacy, or optometry.
What HSC subjects did you do? Was it your parents who chose you to be accelerated?

Yep, I am doing the HSC this year.
Wow how did you go in your HSC? How did you accelerate? Was it hard for you? And how is uni?

    I am so curious. xD
Oh ok. For me, while I neither acknowledge nor deny the existence of a higher spiritual being, I don't believe in the Christian God, due to the contradictions present. So I am agnostic in terms of whether or not there's a higher being, but am atheist in terms of whether the Christian God exists. So maybe you're saying that Atheism and Agnosticism is blurred because it depends on how you interpret the term "God". :)

Oh, I asked if you were 16 because I saw that your profile says that your high school graduation was in 2007. Are you an accelerant?
I like your signature as it shows me that at least I'm not the only one who thinks that. Just a question, where do you sit on the scale between agnosticism and atheism? And are you really 16?
