Has anyone else heard about the changes to the uniform? I was told that replenishment/nightfill shirt won't be an option any longer and that all staff will be expected to wear the green microcheck shirt.

I'd address it to your Longlife/Groceries manager, and according to the EBA you need to give two weeks notice if you've been with the company more than a year. If you're a casual you wouldn't need to provide any formal notice, but it would still be a common courtesy to do so. As for the...

All departments can wear the microcheck shirt, the polo shirts are just an option for Nightfill/Longlife. You'll be moving around a lot, bending and lifting etc so it's important to be comfortable!

We still have some. Enough to last until Tuesday? I'm not certain. It's hilarious reading the WW Facebook page and the way customers are whining and complaining like spoiled children over a few bits of plastic. :D

Obviously, the adage 'the customer is always right' couldn't be further from the truth. In my experience is actually very rare that a complaining customer is ever right, about anything. ;-) My favourite customers are those who go to to the front desk and ask to see 'the manager'. It's late in...

I'm a Nightfill manager, so we just wear the green longlife polo shirts. They're much more comfortable when you're moving around a lot, and engaging in a fairly physical job. I've definitely not been informed of any such change to the front end shirts. Our SM and ASM just wear their own...

It's all the overheads on the top of the aisle shelving. Most stores will have them littered with Christmas stock currently. Long time ago the protocol was that loose stock could be stored on the capping.

I think it's just a modern convenience that customers would simply expect. Woolworths should get on it ASAP!

Don't even get me started with this bullshit. Seriously pisses me off. As a Nightfill manager my fastest filler is a casual. She basically chose her own hours, and the number of hours she does a week. So she works 25 hours a week, and finishes at 11pm each night. She works 20 cartons an hour (!)...

If you changed the CAP from 20 to 24 then the correct thing to do would be to increase the MPL also, to 6. This would maintain the MPL at 1/4th the CAP. If you simply altered the CAP without adjusting the MPL then an order shouldn't be generated. The order should only be generated when the SOH...

SOH is simply the stock on hand. The total number of units. If you have ten bottles of lemonade on a shelf, and a carton of twelve in the back dock your SOH count would be 22. The CAP is the shelf capacity. How many bottles of lemonade fit on the shelf? Suppose it's 20. The OM of an item is...

Not directly. The easiest way is to be in 5, 5, 8, 2 (scan out of LTO), and scan the cage. Enter the reference number of the item and it'll tell you if it's in the cage or not. It's not ideal, but it's still much easier than trying to visually search the entire cage.
