Its funny how on the "what mark are you aiming for" everyone is full asking for your ranks and stuff because they think we're serious about you overaiming. I guess your goal of not looking intelligent is working
+You get $10k/year at both USyd/UNSW as well- that's not a bad motivation either... What about if you get .9 so you qualify for Scientia ($10k) but not the USyd equivalent- are you stilling going to go USyd?
haha idk. besides MX1, i reckon those are the marks i'm capped at.
i'm slightly worried about your aims though, you've got a lot of work to do to get those marks

Holy crap- what a beast haha- miring hard. Well bro- he came 4th so you need to beat that. Actually here's the plan: You top either phys or chem (or both) and I'll top eco and then we'll go to the awards session together and stuff and then have a nice drink
Yeah tbh I don't get that either- I know someth1ng is like a massive proponent of it but the way I see it: MC is 18+/20. You get full marks for all the one and two mark questions, calculations etc. Not sure about you but yeah, I don't think I'll get full marks for the 7 markers but even if I get 5/7- so I've only dropped 2 marks here etc- so add up the whole paper and 85+ is defs achievable
Like I got 90 for my chem trial and 96.5 for phys (ok they were probs marked a bit easier) but still idk... I know I'm defs not state rank material for sciences but honestly- you've got a shot because you understand the stuff a lot better than me (I'm just good at BSing those impacts on society and stuff haha)
Though listen to this- last year we had a state ranker in chem and he got 92/100 in the trial. This year, one guy got 97.5 and second got 97. Shit. And the teachers said they didn't mark easier... So there's your competition for state ranks
YES- I do the same thing with floors and ceilings as well. What I do is floor all my subjects and then look at that ATAR, and then move stuff around and watch it move up haha. And sometimes I just go nuts and put like the absolute best scenario (like 97 english, 99 eco, 100 3U, 98 4U etc. LOL)-> not even sure why I do that because its not going to happen but it's fun.
And obviously it depends on the paper but I'd like 90+. Tbh though, as long as I don't make sillies (or only like 1 or 2) I'll be happy. Like if the stuff I get wrong is because I legit can't do it- that's ok. If I come out though and I integrated sin2x wrong, I will punch someone.
And when you study maths you can full pump music and everything I haven't even looked at the sciences for like 1.5 weeks now lol- after maths I'll have to go hard
Oh do you know how good that makes me feel- I thought I was the only guy who messed around on ATAR calculator haha. I still can't predict most ATAR's, but I reckon I can do any one with our subs with marks in the 90's now lol.
And I'm pretty similar. I've just been doing english and eco (fuark after eco- maths study will be SO fun lol) and yeah, maybe hitting 4 hours, 5 at max (solid hours though). Others at school are at like 10 and I'm like. I procrastinate too much Though I'm similar to you- I've got my essays and analysis and stuff so I've been slowly memorising as I go and looking at random questions and stuff
Oh wait haha- I just realised I didn't respond to your question about two relateds on your wall- I did it on mine (strong retard/10). Umm, with two relateds, first I'd punch the guy sitting next to me and then I would do it like you- prescribed 1, related 1, prescribed 2, related 2. Though I would struggle for time- with two relateds I'm at like 1330 words haha which might be possible because my creative is only like 900 but yeah- I'll probs have to cut stuff out.
Whats your study looking like now? Are you just doing english? And hows the eco going brah

Yeah same. My main one is not a good ending- its basically about how he compromises his principles etc. to belong which is why I wrote a happy one today lol (the classic stuffed up homeland -> migration one). I hope I can use my main one though
Yeah my main creative is 940 from memory. I wrote two more today as like back ups but they're not top stuff and they're like 850 words. Hopefully the question has the stimulus "Welcome home" or "Welcome to the family" or whatever and then I'll just be like BOOM
