    For 8, A is correct because when e->0, the ellipse can either go taller OR go narrower. It doesn't do both at the same time. The reasoning behind this is because as e->0, b->a or a->b (doesn't really matter which), hence the ellipse can change shape in only one way. But for 9 I got C, because...
